Images taken with 5inch or 6inch APO refractor or 12inch CDK, Celestron 14 EHD, or 13inch Newtonian
Recording with ASI224MC or ASI120MC / ASI174 with FireCapture. Processing in AstroStakkert!3, Registax 6 and Photoshop CS2.


2023-10-31 06:41UT. The year is soon coming to an end and this is only the first Jupiter observation. The red spot was near center meridian of the planet.

Over the evening I recorded 21 AVIs each yielding a still image. The images were combined into a short timelapse showing the rotation of Jupiter. There was a change in exposure time during the sequence, thus a small jump in brightness in the video.
